STATEMENT OF FACTS: WHY VICTOR MATHEW BOBAI AND MANY OTHERS BELIEVE THE ADC CANNOT WIN SOUTHERN KADUNA — AND WHY THE APC REMAINS THE MOST CREDIBLE ALTERNATIVE

Southern Kaduna is no longer a battleground for recycled politics, emotional blackmail, or experimental coalitions. The people are politically mature, conscious of their past, and resolute about their future. As such, the so-called ADC Coalition lacks the trust, traction, and credibility needed to win the hearts of our people.
Below are the facts that explain why the ADC has failed to inspire Southern Kaduna, and why APC under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani remains the most credible, tested, and accepted political platform in the region today.
- The El-Rufai Factor: A Deep Political Wound
Former Governor Nasiru El-Rufai remains the most controversial and unpopular political figure in Southern Kaduna history. His years in office (2015–2023) are remembered for:
Ethnic profiling
Worsening insecurity
Targeted neglect of Christian-majority communities
Undermining of traditional institutions
His involvement in the ADC Coalition is a major red flag. Any political group that places El-Rufai at the center of its strategy has automatically disqualified itself from gaining the trust of Southern Kaduna.
- The Coalition Is Politically Disjointed
The ADC’s coalition structure is composed of conflicting political ideologies and ambitions. With Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and El-Rufai pulling in different directions, the coalition lacks:
Policy clarity
Grassroots structure
A coherent message for Southern Kaduna
This is a coalition of convenience, not conviction — and the people see through it.
- Peter Obi’s Relevance Has Diminished in the Region
While Peter Obi once enjoyed youth sympathy in 2023, his influence in Southern Kaduna has since faded dramatically. Today:
90% of his Obedient political stakeholders have decamped back to the APC, embracing an era of pragmatic politics over empty idealism.
Obi has no sustained grassroots operations or party structure in Southern Kaduna.
His continued alliance with El-Rufai and Atiku has undermined his moral brand among many former followers.
What remains is a symbol without substance, and our people know better than to follow symbols over results.
- The APC Is Delivering Tangible Progress
Under President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani, Southern Kaduna is experiencing:
Improved security under CDS Gen. Christopher Musa, our son
Road construction, healthcare access, and rural electrification
Inclusion of Southern Kaduna indigenes in state and federal leadership roles
Direct empowerment of youth through job creation and enterprise support
These are not promises — they are active realities.
- Governor Uba Sani Is Rewriting the Story of Governance
Governor Uba Sani has:
Shown respect to traditional rulers and church leaders
Appointed competent Southern Kaduna citizens to strategic roles
Invested in peacebuilding and interfaith reconciliation
Engaged the grassroots in policy conversations
His style of leadership is humble, honest, and inclusive, unlike the past administration that ruled with arrogance and division.
- Southern Kaduna Remembers the Betrayal of 2015
The 2015 political betrayal that saw the removal of President Goodluck Jonathan ushered in a long season of fear, killings, and abandonment for our people. The same actors behind that shift are now repackaging themselves as a “coalition for change.” But we remember.
Southern Kaduna will not walk back into the fire just because the coat of paint is different.
- The People Are Speaking Loud and Clear
Respected voices across the region — Benjamin Terlumun Nyiyongo, Abbie Nyalyen, Douglas Saidu, and others — are united in rejecting the ADC Coalition. As Nyiyongo said:
“No reasonable Southern Kaduna indigene or resident will support any coalition championed by the likes of El-Rufai, Atiku, and Co.”
This is not just a political opinion — it is the pulse of the people.
CONCLUSION: THE FUTURE IS WITH THE APC
Southern Kaduna has suffered too long to gamble its future again. What we need now is:
Consolidation of gains, not coalition of contradictions
Peace over provocation
Unity over division
Development over propaganda
That is why we stand with the APC. We stand with President Tinubu, with Governor Uba Sani, and with Gen. Christopher Musa Gwabin — men who are working tirelessly to heal and rebuild.
The ADC may strategize. They may shout. But they have no moral foundation in Southern Kaduna — and they will not find support here.
